Inspired by an antique postcard from around the 1930s, discovered by the designer while traveling through the French countryside. The postcard depicted a shepherd wearing a cloak, which served as the inspiration for this masterpiece from OUTIL.
This piece, which was very well-received last time, uses plenty of OUTIL's original cotton moleskin.
The fabric is made by weaving the finest extra-long staple cotton called Pima cotton to its limit, resulting in a superb fabric with an overwhelming presence.
The eye-catching col. Willow.
Dyed with colors extracted from the willow trees of the Bikan Historical Quarter in Okayama Prefecture, as well as gardenia and mulberry leaves, this beautiful color is a testament to OUTIL's commitment to detail.
It has an overall oversized fit with plenty of room.
The raglan sleeves naturally fit the shoulders.
You can easily wear thick items or dolman sleeve innerwear, and it still looks great when paired with shirts or cut-and-sews.
It's lighter than it looks when worn, and can be worn for a long season until early spring.
It becomes more familiar with each wear, and as the fabric drapes, it doesn't look too bulky despite the amount of fabric used.

I am 169 cm tall, and it had a good balance with room to spare. I had the length slightly cut by a tailor because I didn't like the hem dragging on the ground when going up and down stairs.
